The first "Delta inter Chamber Event" was held in Macao on July 9th. Zhuhai Zongtong Business Service Ltd, Work in Progress Ltd and Macao Business Magazine Ltd are the main sponsors while Zhuhai Investment Promotion Bureau is one of the supporting organizations.

In order to promote and implement The Outline of the Plan for the Reform and Development of the Pearl River Delta and the Framework Agreement on Hong Kong/Guangdong Cooperation, ZHIPB answered the invitation from European and American businessmen by becoming one of the supporting organizations of the event. This networking will not only promote the partnership between Hong Kong, Macao and Zhuhai as well as the communication between European-American chambers of commerce in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao but also expand the investment form Europe and America. Hence, it will improve the business atmosphere in Zhuhai.

Around 220 business representatives and organization personnel from European Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong), Australian Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong and Macao), American Chamber of Commerce (Macao), British Chamber of Commerce (Macao), Canada Chamber of Commerce (Macao), Portuguese Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, German Chamber of Commerce (South China) and Zhuhai Chamber of Commerce of Importers & Exporters attended this event.

Deputy Director Li Dongpeng and other personnel form ZHIPB and representatives of Zhuhai Shizimen Construction Holding Ltd were also present at the function.
