The city is revising the Zhuhai-Macao Cross-Border Industrial Zone Zhuhai Park Regulatory Plan, aiming for faster transformation and upgrade, according to the Southern Metropolis Daily.
The revised plan will focus on service outsourcing, exhibition and spot sales, high-end logistics, entrepot trade and other modern service industries. A bridge is proposed to connect the Zhuhai park and Wanzai so that it can be part of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge extension line in the future.
Being revised by the Zhuhai Institute of Urban Planning & Design, the plan is excluding the garment and textile and other conventional industries.
The plan also highlights high-end industries and upgraded environment and support infrastructure in the park. It stipulates that the Zhuhai park covers 29.63 hectares with nearly 100,000sqm not constructed.
The new plan is pending public feedback at hotlines: 8686336 and 2651652.
