THE Zhuhai Ocean, Agriculture & Fisheries Bureau has released the Report of Marine Environment Quality of Zhuhai in 2009, which shows that the sea water environmental quality in 2009 remained primarily the same as the previous year with offshore water quality being good on the whole while that of river mouth and coastal areas is worse due to land-based pollution.

The report also analyzed and assessed the ecological environment status in Zhuhai oceanic areas to provide reference for promotion of marine environmental protection and social and economic sustainable development.
