The 2.52 billion yuan worth of Lenovo-Seine Printer R & D Manufacturing Base is one of the major projects in Zhuhai. The first self-developed model of laser printer in China will be launched by Zhuhai Seine Technology Co., Ltd. in next September and put into mass production for the global market.

Cang Xiaogang, Marketing Director of Ninestar told the journalist the R & D Manufacturing Base is a joint-venture between Seine Technology Co., Ltd. and Legend Capital. In the China Government Procurement Summit held last October where Seine's self-developed laser printer made its debut, Seine Technology exhibited its capability of making printers and consumables through proprietary technologies.

It's expected that the gross industrial output brought about by Seine laser printer and consumables will exceed RMB 10 billion in the five years to come.

The construction of the Lenovo-Seine Printer Industrial Park which covers 250,000 square metres will kick off in the second half of this year.
