Recently, the three wing towers of the AVIC general aircraft assembly base with a total investment of RMB 7.6 billion have been basically finished and the assembly plant will be completed at the end of April.

The assembly plant is equipped with 3 production lines, two of which are assembly lines for small-sized aircrafts. In August, the first Zhuhai-made Seagull 300 will be assembled here before being displayed at the Airshow China next November. Another assembly line which is 54-meters-long and 18-meters-high will be used for making big jets, where the world's biggest amphibian plane Dragon-600 will be produced in 4 years time.
