As a famous coastal garden city at South Guangdong Province, China, Zhuhai is among the first special economic zones set up in the country and is a municipality featuring beautiful environment, full-fledged infrastructure, preferential investment policies, flourishing economy and social stability. The Municipality has been granted various honors including one of the "Top 40 Tourist Attractions of China", a "Top Tourist City of China", "National Environmental Protection Model City", "National Ecological Demonstration City" and the first in China to win a "Dubai International Award for Best Practices to Improve Living Environment".

In charge of investment promotion, Zhuhai Investment Promotion Bureau is a functional department of the People's Government of Zhuhai Municipality. Focusing on economic development, the Bureau will, as always, encourage both domestic and foreign investments, advertise the city's image both at home and abroad, in order to build Zhuhai into the core city at the Pearl River West, a new special zone for eco-civilization and a pilot city for scientific development.
