Responsibilities:

1. Department for Administrative Affairs

Responsible for administrative affairs: secretarial issues, official document processing, archive management, confidentiality, safety and security; finance and logistics; organize external liaison activities and professional training; responsible for the work of the Party Group, labor union, the Communist Youth League and women; draft human resource and performance assessment schemes.

2. Department for Policies and Information

Research on theories, development trend and relevant laws and regulations on investment promotion, participate in the drawing up and implementation of the strategy and guiding opinions on investment promotion; offer supervision, review and guidance on legal issues; responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance work of Invest Zhuhai Website, coordinate online investment promotion all over the city; responsible for collecting, sorting, processing, analysis, processing, publishing and consulting of investment related information; conduct marketing and promotional activities of the city's image and business environment, compile plans, catalogues and advertising materials on investment promotion, set up the database of major investment projects and the list of major investors in Zhuhai; formulate annual economic indicators for investment promotion; responsible for the announcement, counting, appraisal and reward of investment promotion activities; examine and recognize headquarter enterprise.

3. Department for Project Facilitation

Responsible for the planning and promotion of major projects related to key industries like harbourside industries, ocean engineering equipment manufacturing, aviation, information technology, biomedicine and international business leisure and tourism; intermediate investment promotion work between districts, economic function zones and relevant governmental departments at central, provincial and municipal levels; solve difficulties and problems encountered by enterprises during process of settlement, construction, production and operation; offer facilitation on projects related to investment, project matching, negotiation and investigation and partnership; offer assistance on setting up businesses for projects during preparation, construction and production phases; facilitate communication between enterprises and other governmental departments.

4. Department for International Business Promotion

Implement and carry out development plans on outbound investment cooperation at municipal level; establish contact and communication with investment promotion agencies in foreign countries; organize various outbound investment cooperation activities and introduce foreign-invested projects; plan and organize local investigation and provide information, consultation and service concerning business environment for foreign investors; organize delegations to conduct overseas business investigation and to participate, plan and arrange various project or investment promotion seminars; priority is given to introducing advanced manufacturing projects from countries and regions like Europe, America, Japan, Korea and Taiwan as well as modern service projects from Hong Kong and Macao; provide information, consultation and service related to business environment for local enterprise with overseas investment cooperation undertaking; coordinate and manage the overseas investment promotion agencies of Zhuhai Government; responsible for the recruitment and management of foreign agencies of Zhuhai Government.

5. Department for Domestic Business Promotion

Draft up plans for domestic investment promotion, coordinate large events all over the city and work with relevant departments to organize those events; negotiate and finalize domestic invested projects, and arrange investigation for domestic business delegations; plan, organize and participate in various investment seminars, trade fairs, expositions and negotiations. Priority is given to attracting influential and profound leading state-owned enterprises and technology-oriented private businesses; conduct cooperation and exchange with domestic investment promotion agencies, exhibition companies and other economic organization, promote the development of exhibition economy; guide and coordinate exchange and cooperation on investment promotion among districts (economic function zones), and improve the investment promotion working network all over the city; coordinate and manage the investment promotion agencies of Zhuhai Government in other cities in China; responsible for the recruitment and management of investment promotion agencies of Zhuhai Government.
