1. Preferential Tax Treatments
For a high-tech enterprise under the key support of the state in Zhuhai Special Economic Zone (SEZ) that completes the registration on or after January 1, 2008, the incomes it acquires in SEZ shall be relieved from the enterprise income tax for the first 2 years as of the tax year to which the first revenue coming from production or operation contributes , and shall be levied at half of the statutory tax rate of 25% for the third to the fifth years.

4. Transportation Convenience
So far, Zhuhai is within easy access to all major cities in PRD and only 1 hour's drive to Hong Kong. Located at the junction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, Guangzhou-Zhuhai Rail and China Coastal Expressway and possessing one of the most advanced airports in China, Zhuhai is becoming the transportation hub in the western Guangdong. Gaolan Port in Zhuhai is a hub harbour in the South China, with a container tanker handling capacity of 20.000 tons. It is expected to be upgraded to 50,000 ton by the end of June 2008. At the meanwhile, the construction proposal of four 100,000 tonnage container terminals and one 300,000 tonnage oil tanker berth has been submitted to upper authority for approval.
5. Talented Manpower
The universities and colleges in Zhuhai have tailored their courses and training to meet the needs of the market, and continuously supported the industry development by providing various talents. So far a number of reputable high-education institutions including Sun Yat-sen University, Jinan University, Jilin University have set up their campuses in Zhuhai. By 2007, the total of university students had reached 79,100, ranking the 2nd in the Guangdong province. Vocational education has also been given significance by the municipal government and dozens of technical and vocational schools have been founded.

Zhuhai has become a city featuring foreign trade and inward investment. The import and export value for 2007 totaled USD 39.87 billion. Industrial output contributed by large-scale foreign-invested enterprises (FIEs) reached RMB 177.26 billion, accounting for 72.54% of the industrial output of the city. Export value by FIEs was USD 15.43 billion, 83.54% of the city's total. By the end of 2007, investors from 55 countries and regions had had operations in Zhuhai. Out of the Fortune 500 companies, more than 30 including BP, Canon, Panasonic and Flextronics had invested 65 projects in Zhuhai.
